Great location for us because we like to come up to the area to crab and clam. The best stocked rental we have ever stayed at (maybe because someone actually lives here?) Great windows to look out into Bodega Head and the ocean. The neighborhood is peaceful

Bodega Bay Escapes is the BEST as always!!! This particular home is not my favorite. As soon as you walk in there is a very steep set of stairs so be prepared for a work out if you packed for a week. The set up is very uncomfortable. Furniture is outdated and very uncomfortable. The tv only gets very minimal channels and is outdated.. no streaming here...It took 24 hours to heat the home up with the outdated floor heaters. It has a wood stove but no fire wood is provided. The wood we purchased from a local vendor was not dry enough so we had to spend more money at the local market at a higher price for drier wood. Kitchen was well equipped. The owner keeps a lot of personal items stocked in the kitchen which leaves very little space for guests to unpack and store any of their food items. Same for the bedrooms and bathrooms. Over all... uncomfortable.

All agreed, it was our favorite home in the seven years of staying in South Harbor.
The Great Room was indeed great with panoramic views! The unique fireplace provided a nightly blaze! The back courtyard and deck allowed us a view of some hot golfers including a group of pros. It was fun to cook together in a well-equipped kitchen. The large dining table provided room for all! My pup, Ragsy, loved watching the doggies, bunnies, and deer! The folks at Bodega Bay Escapes handled every request in a timely and extra-friendly manner. I highly recommend this agency and home!

This is our second stay at a Robin's Nest. We love it there because it's an easy walk down to the beach and a cozy, clean house with everything you need to be comfortable. There have been 3 generations of us when we stay there. Our 4 and 6 year old grandchildren love all of the DVD's and Wii and board games. The adults love the patio, kitchen and seating areas.

The house was as described. Ocean views from the living room. A 10 minute walk to the beach and trails. A great spot for a short break. Lovely quiet neighborhood.

We had the best time. Relaxed and ate lots of great food. The house has amazing views and the back yard is perfect for our dog. We were a little disappointed in the cleanliness. There was a dirty wine glass in the back yard and the outside trash can was full with dog poop and alcohol bottles. Majority of the dishes that we pulled out of the cupboards or drawers had food on them and had to be washed. They had obviously been put away dirty. There was also copious amounts of black dog hair on the sofas and under the dining table. Several windows are oxidized which is understandable however all of the windows were so filthy it hindered the view.

This house was perfect for 4 adults & 2 kids! The views were gorgeous and the weather also cooperated and made our stay awesome. The house was big enough that even if it had been raining, staying in was no issue at all. The only thing that could possibly improve the house would be the addition of a hottub on the back patio. ❤️

Home is perfect getaway for 2 couples and a dog. Plenty of kitchen, dining, and living room space. Great views. Good dog run area. Nice outdoor space.

The home is in a nice location to get to restaurants and the beach. It was clean, had a lot of space to spread out and the views and sunsets were incredible.

Very comfortable & clean house, had everything we needed to cook & hangout. But be warned, the fence in the backyard is very low, my medium sized Irish Terrier jumped over it quickly. It’s definitely suited for small dogs.

Had thanksgiving here and enjoyed thoroughly! Had all the amenities needed to entertain and was quite pleasant!

Stayed with another family, and this house’s layout is perfect as the bedrooms are split from the master. Easy walk to a gorgeous and safe beach. Dog friendly. 2nd time at Robin’s Nest and we’ll be back!

Our party of five (3 generations) spent two nights at Robin’s Nest to celebrate my Mom’s 80th birthday. The home is sweet and cozy like your friend’s or grandparent’s home, which we really appreciated. Nothing felt too “precious” or stuffy, just relaxed and inviting. If you are looking for an updated, more modern home then you will be probably be disappointed.

The queen and king beds were quite comfortable, aside from the sheets that felt crunchy and stiff, somewhat like plastic. I would suggest to the homeowners to provide softer cotton sheets if possible. We were awakened in the mornings around 7:00 am by golfers teeing off right outside the bedrooms, as is expected of a golf course home. It didn’t bother us. Large flocks of adorable quail would gather on the green once the golfers had passed. So cute!!!

The pullout sofa bed was pretty uncomfortable, so two of our party decided to forgo their second night and head home to Santa Rosa instead of staying. Perhaps it might be more comfy for just one person, but we gave the queen bed to Mom, as it was her birthday :)))

We had a great weekend in Bodega Bay and the weather was beautiful! Thank you for providing your “home away from home” and allowing us to bring two other VIP members of our family, our little dachshunds.

Just a tiny side would be helpful to provide instructions on using the TV and DVD player in the main room. Great selection of DVDs but we didn’t watch any, due to not figuring out how to

We stayed at Robin's Nest for the month of September-2021. The property description was accurate, the location ideal, a favorable layout and completely stocked with amenities. The home was clean and well maintained. We would highly recommend a stay there...thank you for sharing your home with us.

It was so wonderful. The house was perfect for us and the yard and courtyard was great for our dog. Great views, incredible food, friendly people and fresh air. We had the best time.

Our family of four (parents and college aged kids) enjoyed our stay at A Robins Nest! The home was the perfect size for us, and we liked that the kids had their wing of the house while my wife and I had the master wing. Kids and parents each had their space. The home had lots of movies and books to relax with, and the views of the bay are beautiful! The only hiccup was that Comcast/Xfinity went down for a full day of our three day/four night stay. We were without WiFi and TV during that time. It’s not the owner’s or Bodega Bay Escapes fault, but it was a disappointment.

This was an excellent experience... One or two things could have been made more clear..... Fore example, there should be a handout indicating how to close the house down. We called when we got there, on Thursday..... unfortunately no one got back to us.... We ended up going on line and, thankfully there were instructions on your website regarding returning the keys , taking the garbage out etc. etc. Absent going on line we would have been left to our own about stripping the bed, cleaning up etc.... Just have a handout (one page) sitting with the spare keys.. Also... just FYI.. the lock on the front door was difficult to close from the inside.. (not the deadbolt that worked fine.. so, tell the owners, or fix it yourselves... Other than that.... A Robins nest was great....... And we will come back...

A great pet friendly place. So cozy and has anything n everything you need! Love the lay out and views! Was perfect for our family getaway. Some of our family were staying down the road in their RV, they were able to have dinners with us as there was plenty on room.

Spent a weekend at this beautiful beach home to relax and enjoy family time. Cooked some wonderful meals, enjoyed the beach and ocean views. Precious memories were made and we will definitely return!

Great house, location and views of the bay. Only complaint was not enough large cooking items to accommodate house of 6 or more if visiting.

It's always a pleasure to rent a coastal house from Bodega Bay Escapes. We rent a house every March and again in the fall. It never disappoints. All the houses have been clean and well-stocked. It's always a great time for us.

Very fun house with great ocean views on the golf course. Very clean, well-laid out with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The entryway is steep stairs, so beware if anyone in your group has knee or hip issues. Pet-friendly, a nice little fenced area behind the house for emergency pet trips. Well-stocked kitchen.

My sister and I stayed at Robin’s Nest with our three small dogs for a week. The dog friendly yard was perfect to for them. The home was warm and inviting and the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was completely equipped. We really enjoyed the lovely view of the bay and watched the beautiful sunsets from the living room windows. It’s a great walking neighborhood and there were always friendly folks out walking throughout the area during the day. It was a great getaway.

The house was wonderful. Everything was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and had great appliances. The back patio and dog friendly yard were perfect for our little pooch. Easy beach access. Great location. Overall, a wonderful experience!

We couldn't have asked for a better stay/experience. Bodega Bay Escapes was very responsive and made our stay very enjoyable. The house is rustic and beautiful. Very comfortable beds and the back patio is very relaxing...right on the 3rd tee of the golf course. We had to do some work while we were there, and the high speed internet made that easy. Bodega Bay itself is quaint and lovely. We will definitely use Bodega Bay Escapes again.

This home was perfect for our stay. Great location & the view was incredible. The home was well stocked for eating at home during Covid. The house was clean and included hand sanitizer. Would definitely stay here again.

We rented Robin's Nest partially because they allow dogs. Our two fur kids had a great setup here. Nice little fenced in yard in the back, complete with a little pooping patch and a scooper and trash can nearby. We were all very comfortable, and loved the view from the living room. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need, and nice modern appliances. Grill on the patio worked perfectly. The only thing I would suggest is an upgrade for the TV in the living room, as the speakers sounded a bit blown out. We will definitely consider staying here again.
