Super two bedroom house overlooking the ninth green and fairway with clear view of Bodega Head. This house is showing its age however with sliding entry doors that won't slide open as wheels are worn out. Windows difficult to open and cupboards and drawers without pull hardware. Carpet shows dirt/stain spots and wear through out. Handy garage for secure parking is a plus as well as proximity to beach access.

Really enjoyed our stay. Two living levels was perfect for remote working and hanging out. Very clean and well stocked. Lovely walk around the neighborhood and nice private patio in the front. Even with the power out from the storm, was a lovely stay.

Everything with the home was wonderful. My only negative was the construction going on right next door. Starting at 7:00 am every morning. My complaint would not be about the construction itself but I feel we should have been told about it and given an option to reschedule or trip.

Wonderful house for 2 couples who enjoy the golf coarse and ocean! Home could use some updating but great over all.

WE GOT MARRIED AT THE BODEGA BAY SECRET GARDENS VENUE; VERY CONVENIENT TO STAY AT BODEGA BAY ESCAPES AND RENT SEVERAL VACATION HOMES FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS. WHILE WALKABLE WE COULD ALSO QUICKLY DRIVE TO EACH OTHE'S HOUSES. PACIFIC JEWEL WAS LARGE AND CLEAN. THE BATH TUB WITH JETS WAS A FAVORITE!

Very good. Its a great location with great views. Improvements could be made, as with most homes, to put knobs on cabinets which slam shut. There was an ant issue in kitchen. Overall a very nice place and visit

Wonderful views from great room and kithen.
Good heater operation. Property needs carpet cleaning, sliding screen door repair as they are off track, kitchen and bath cabinet/drawer hardware as they are difficult to open. Also remove the ant traps from kithen and bath counter tops as they just continually attract the ants into the house and not out and away. Entry sliding glass door needs bottom rollers repaired.

We had a great weekend, amazing weather in a break from the storms. WE loved the location and views..

We truly enjoyed our time in Bodega Bay and the Pacific Jewel is what made it special. It is a very comfortable house and the view is stunning.

We loved the property, and the view of the ocean on a clear day is spectacular. You might be awakened by barking sea lions, and you can be down at the beach in 10 minutes. Would stay there every year.

This house is a great place to get away. The location and view is amazing! The house is very spacious and was perfect for us to get away and relax. It is a short walk to one of my favorite beaches. The house could use some updating, but overall it suited us very well. I would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Pacific Jewel house. The house was very clean, well stocked, and had a beauty view! Only a 5 minute walk to the beach. It was perfect!

The house location has wonderful views and close to the beach and clubhouse. Living areas and kitchen are spacious. Love that it allows our dog to join in the fun. Rental staff very accommodating and without exorbitant fees of the other agencies! Highly recommend!

Been coming to Bodega for about 10 years and this view is overall the best. The house is a little on the older side with decor, But you have everything you need with plenty of space. Definitely trying to book my next stay soon.

We've stayed at many different homes in Bodega Bay. I would gladly stay here again if it were available. This place is great for two couples or a family with two kids.

Great views, staff was flexible which we appreciated. Spacious rooms, large kitchen. BBQ is in the front patio - not oceanside. Recommend the nearby Pinnacle Gulch Trail at low tide for a 15 minute hike to a mostly empty beach that is filled with sea life. We saw dear on the uphill hike back to the parking lot and countless wildflowers. Another nice trip to Bodega.

An easy 5 minute walk to the beach and spectacular views. Property is completely outdated and needs a major renovation. The kitchen did not have all you need to cook etc. toaster oven didn’t work properly, shower door in master bedroom barely opened and screen doors need to be replaced.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was warm, comfortable but it was very dated . There was a wood fire place but no wood provided. Its to bad they don't have a gas insert. Views are beautiful and short walk to the beach.

Wonderful! Weather was great, the golf a bit frustrating as it should be and beach lovely. Maybe the best part was falling asleep to the sound of the ocean and not sirens. I think the house was the sunniest I have ever been in with all the windows, skylight and south facing. Even the garage had skylights.

We spent a long weekend with our close friends from our "bubble." The two bedroom suites are on different floors, the living area is huge, and we enjoyed walking, local take-out seafood, and cooking in the large kitchen.

I would definitely recommend this for two couples, although there is a family room with a sleeper sofa if you have kids.

We have been vacationing Bodega Bay for over 30 years. Pacific Jewel has a beautiful view to sit, relax, and enjoy. The overall experience was wonderful. The house was cleaned, the kitchen fully stocked for cooking, Wifi worked great, and beds were comfy. Eventually, the decore needs to be updated and the TV is in an awkward place. Overall, we will be back.

The house is absolutely what I wanted for a vacation rental... the kitchen was fully stocked, couches were super comfortable.... the master king bed was a little un comfortable... but everything else met my expectations 100 times....

As advertised it does have great ocean views and a good view of the 9th green.
The kitchen could use and upgrade (especially with pots, pans, utensils) and deep cleaning.

We really enjoyed the time we spent at this property. While the bathroom upstairs could use an update (we didn't see the downstairs), we really enjoyed the main living area and kitchen. The view is amazing and we enjoyed the fireplace too. The kitchen is very well equipped, there are a ton of dishes/pots pans and nearly every utensil you can imagine. Being able to park in the garage was a nice bonus. I would definitely stay here again, it was a nice getaway. It's an easy 5 minute walk down to the beach and we took advantage of it.

Three beautiful days along the north coast of California. Nice moderately easy walk to beach from the house. Fun to see golfers challenged by the green and bunkers in our view of the Pacific Ocean. A relaxing getaway!
The home has a 70’s vibe that you could say is almost back in fashion . Someone who stayed at the property prior and did not clean dishes very well, we found dirty glasses and dishwater in cupboards. We soaked, washed and ran through dishwasher and guess what? the dishes were clean. The dishwasher also seems to be be getting a little old not doing a great job, might be time to change out soon. Definitely need to clean dishes of any food residue before using dishwasher to get them clean.

Large, comfortable home with full "wall of windows" in living/dining room. The home is just above the 9th green of Bodega Links golf course so you can watch the golfers and the boats out on the ocean at the same time! Bring binoculars. We saw a bobcat on the golf course (from the window of the house about 8:30am). Truly! The house is a bit dated but, no worries, all very clean with tile counters in the kitchen and plenty of pots/pans/serving dishes/ etc. Just remember to bring (or maybe owners will provide next time) your own coffee filters so as not to have to run to town (Pelican Plaza) to pick up at the grocery store. We had clam chowder (take out) from Fishetarian Fish Market in town. Excellent. Long line so it's best to order online if you want to avoid that process. The home is a short walk past the lodge down to the beach. Dogs have to be on leash there.
Altogether two nights was barely enough time to enjoy all this house and area have to offer. We had stopped at the bread store and artisan cheese shop in Freestone on the way. Check them out as well.

We had a great time here (2 adults and 3 teenage girls). The view from the living and dining rooms is spectacular. It was so relaxing to watch the boats and the waves and it was fun to watch the golfers. The house is very pet friendly. Our lab/retriever mix really enjoyed himself. Easy walk to the beach. The only suggestions I would make is for the owners to consider updating the bathrooms. The faucets, tiles, and woodwork was very outdated. Also, the slider downstairs was difficult to open and close. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to others!

We love to stay at this home because of the view. But to be honest, the home could use some updates and repairs. The screen doors on the sliders are very hard to open and close. The slider on the shower has the same issue. One doesn't move at all and the other is very hard to move. The kitchen needs new utensils. There is only one set of towels per person in the master bath. If you want more towels and wash rags, you have to go downstairs even though there is plenty of storage for them in the master. Having said that, the view is worth it all. We have stayed at this house at least 20 times over the last 9+ years. The vacation rental company is awesome.

The manager staff is very responsive and courteous. We love them!
The only suggestion I have is the kitchen supplies can be improved and need some bigger soup bowels.

We've already stayed here 3 times, and are booked for our 4th. It's perfect for 2 couples who like their privacy. One bedroom upstairs & one downstairs permit for a nice "buffer." The kitchen & living area are also spacious.

The house was very nice with 2 exceptions the gas barbecue is a disaster and needs to be replaced and one of the dining room chairs was damaged and unsafe to use. I enjoyed the stay, what a great view.

Had a wonderful week at the Pacific Jewel! The view was absolutely spectacular and was very spacious for two couples. We’ve stayed at several different houses in Bodega Harbor and this was the best so far. We loved everything about it and plan to come back real soon.

This is about the tenth time we have rented from Bodega Bay Escapes. This was I believe the only two bedroom we have rented and we have enjoyed the experience very much that we are considering coming back to this home again in Aug. of Sept.. we have stayed here once or twice a year for about 6 years. House is always ready and gets better every year, small up grades etc. extra bonus, very dog friendly with vacant lot next door.

Very nice home with great view of Pacific. Huge living room with newer carpet and nice couch. Takes a while for hot water to get to shower and last person had not cleaned the BBQ grill. Other than that I would stay there again.

The house has a great view of the 10th Green and 180 degree views from the living room and kitchen. The down stairs area is perfect for guest or little ones to play while the adults enjoy the views. The Bodega Bay Escapes staff as usual was very accommodating and easy to work with. I'd say enjoy the property as we did but we plan to be back for 8weeks next summer,

We were very entertained by the golfers at the ninth green just outside our window.
The only issue was the microwave didn’t work.

Great location for golf watching and beach access; walking distance to friend's rental which made meal sharing convenient. Home has been well-loved, is a bit dated; could use some editing.

Location and ocean views were fantastic! Size of home great and easily accommodated 6 without feeling cramped. Bottom patio was really nice to have and also provided great views. Nice to be on golf course and watch both the ocean and golfers passing by. Short walk to beach and club house made location perfect. We would definitely like to return!

The process of checking-in and accessing the house was seamless. The house itself was very clean, amenities were easily accessible and all necessary information/instructions to use them were easy to follow. The views are absolutely beautiful. The living room windows overlook the ocean and golf course. It was fun to watch people play golf while looking at the ocean. It's a very short walk down to the beach. Great stay! We'll probably be back.

You won't regret staying here. It is incredible. The house itself is cozy, well equipped and comfortable. All beds and linens are clean and comfortable and we all slept great. The house is spotless. The views of the water, beach and golf course are incredible. And, if you want to play- you can walk to the clubhouse easily and leave car at home. Service and check-in process was seamless. All and all, unreal experience. I'll be back.

Though the décor is a bit dated, the place is clean, and very roomy with views from the entire living area. The kitchen is well supplied with pots & pans, etc. - - welcome for cooking in.

Once again we enjoyed our annual vacation in this home.

View spectacular, mesmerizing the minute you open the door! Isn't that why you come to Bodega Bay? Easy walk to the Club House and stairs to the beach, too! My favorite, though, is the night sky. Romantic, very Withering Heights! The house is a comfortable and private split level. Super clean as well. Pacific Jewel is just that, a jewel on the Pacific!

Very nice well equipped and comfortable house. Winter has been hard on the exterior maintenance; e.g. Screen doors off tracks, several light bulbs inside and out burned out. I'm confident these items will be resolved promptly. Property is clean, but not even my own house is "spotless"!

Home was clean, comfortable and spacious. The walk to the beach was short and easy. We weren't crazy about the lack of good pots and pans and there wasn't even salt and pepper in the cupboard. Overall the view and beach access made up for poorly stocked kitchen. We would probably stay there again, just bring more kitchen stuff.

stayed here last Nov so we knew what to expect:
electric range (careful not to burn food), only one set of towels/sheets for week (had to ask for laundry detergent for washer)also needed to launder the placemats as they had old dried food on them. Rain prior week brought in ants. The ants were killed with bait, but ant bodies were everywhere and bait traps stuck to kitchen counter. The view is exceptional and the location is perfect. Put up with inconveniences and just enjoy the super beach!!!

This home was perfect for my husband and I and another couple. With two king size beds, one upstairs master and a downstair bedroom (both had views of the water), a bathroom and family room, it gave each couple a bit of privacy. It's a bit outdated (tile counter tops/kitchen floors), but we don't care about that too much. Bodega Bay Escapes staff were great and very helpful with booking and checking in was easy. I will definitely be staying here again and would recommend it to others.

Pacific Jewel is well titled. It sits peacefully along Gull Drive next to a view corridor empty lot and overlooks the 9th green. The ocean waves lull you to sleep and the stars twinkle on the ocean. Sunsets are postcard perfect. There are several trains to the beach and the clubhouse is a very doable 5 minute walk. The split level home is perfect for a family as well as for several couples to have private space. We highly recommend Pacific Jewel!

This rental property exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable, spacious, and provided a glorious view of Bodega Head. Also enjoyed the view over the Ninth Hole watching the golfers approach shots and putting. Good entertainment.

Once again, this was a great location (Bodega Bay) for our fall family vacation. We've been staying at the Pacific Jewel for the past half dozen years or so, and have yet to be disappointed. The view over looking the golf course and out over the bay to the ocean is without comparison. The home is warm and inviting and as usual was clean and in excellent condition. God willing and the creek don't rise, we'll be back again next year!

Good house, vacant lot next door for dog walk, able to use garage, nice kitchen, great views, quiet, very comfortable furniture,,good guest quarters downstairs if you want to invite company. However, there was a serious ant problem in the kitchen. Management knew but timing was bad for spraying. Did the best they could. Master bath needs better light, bigger bulb would do it. Left sink in master bath drains SLOWLY, kitchen well equipped. WiFi good.

The "Pacific Jewel" rental house in Bodega Harbor South was beautiful, in great shape, with incredible views. The kitchen was nicely equipped for holiday meals, and the beach was an easy stroll away. We relaxed and enjoyed!
