The Bodega House

We stayed at The Bodega House over the Labor Day weekend and had a lovely time. The views are spectacular. Two of the bedrooms, the dining room, living room and kitchen are oriented to take advantage of the view. The rental is in very good condition, it was clean and we even had a nice welcome basket of goodies (a few Keurig coffee pods, bottled waters and a yummy snack mix). Very welcoming. The property description is accurate. There was a pingpong table set up in the garage. Beds were comfortable with plenty of extra pillows, blankets and towels tucked away in the closets. Location was close enough for us to walk over to the clubhouse and on down to the beach. We love the Bodega Harbour area and have stayed many times over the years. We used the bbq one night. I was surprised to realize that there isn't an outdoor dining table and chairs. I went back and checked the property description and that was not mentioned, however, in my opinion, it would be a great addition to this property to have some dining furniture on the deck. The kitchen is basically a one-person kitchen. If you like to cook in a group it might not be roomy enough. Furniture is very lounge style something to consider if one needs firm seating. Home is decorated tastefully with some fun pieces of art. We saw lots of wildlife (deer, heron and other birds). All in all very enjoyable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bodega House. This was our first time at the house and really enjoyed the location and style. We are looking forward to future trips to Bodega and staying in the house. The outdoor chairs were great watching the sunset and the views from inside are perfect when having coffee in the morning.

A beautiful home in the perfect location. This home has is all, from the back deck overlooking the ocean to the attention to detail inside the home. All beds were comfy with high end linens. The jack n jill bathroom was a surprise and a convenience for two of the bedrooms. The primary bedroom was roomy and lovely too. The home has interesting art that we loved and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook great meals. The view from the dining room was spectacular!!

This is a very cozy house, it was very clean and nicely decorated with thoughtful attention to the art selection. The views of the ocean and Bodega Head are beautiful and the home has a spacious deck and hot tub. This is a wonderful family home all on one level and we would recommend it!

We loved the house...a lot of thoughts went into the decor. The layout of the house was great. views reriffic. Inside and out. The deck we really enjoyed. The chairs on the deck were a bit uncomfortable could use some cousins. They being wood were pretty hard. As we spent a lot of time out there enjoying th view and the wonderful sea breeze.
