Great house-very comfortable, very clean, had everything we needed.

We would like to see some window coverings on the windows and the slider. If you’re at the table and the sun is bright it’s very blinding. And the front door and 2 side windows anyone can see you watching TV.
Everything else is great.

One of our favorite area homes. House is clean, quiet, well equipped and well maintained. Great views. Agency staff always helpful and pleasant.

We enjoyed our time at this home. The living area was spacious, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the kitchen could have been better equipped and organized. The property management company was great to work with. Would stay again!

Best house we have rented so far with Bodega Bay Escapes. The views from the living room and the master bedroom are incredible. I could've stayed in bed with that view all day long. Very clean and comfortable. Would recommend this house to anyone.

We had a lovely time at Bearings. It’s a beautiful house, even prettier than the photos show. Beds were all comfortable and even though it was May, we still enjoyed the fireplace! The views are great from the living room and dining/ kitchen.

Our family has been staying in the Bearings house for many years and we live how it fits our family. We have lots of cooks in the family and the roomy kitchen is perfect! The bedrooms are more than adequate for our family. The house is close to a beach trail which is worth exploring.

There were 4 of us and we had a great time and enjoyed the view.
We played a lot of cards, watched tv, chatted a lot. We don’t cook,
We bring snacks and bread for toast in the morning. We always go out
For dinner and take a drive.

The house was obviously built by an amateur who used very cheap materials. There are variations in floor level in a lot of unexpected places, so that it's very easy to trip and fall. The third bedroom was squeezed back in the corner had no chair or closet. The super cheep coffee maker broke. There is a small tree leaning over the entrance to the house so you have to duck under to get into the front door. The driveway has bushes on both sides so you can't get out into the street and see a car coming from either direction until you're already on the street.
All in all, it was a very mediocre experience in a very mediocre house.

Lovely, relaxing opportunity to get away and stay in a home that was well kept up, extremely clean, and had no "issues" to have to deal with.

This was our second stay at Bearings, and once again had the best time. Comfortable, well-appointed, perfect location, all the amenities we need and super easy check-in/check-out. We'll be back!

This is a very charming home and we will consider renting it again for our annual trips to Bodega Bay. The windows in the master and living rooms were amazing. Perfect for having your morning coffee in bed or a glass of wine in the evening. We were surprised that the home was pet freindly given the home's fresh and clean condition. We found the furniture clean, devoid of animal hair and smell, and completely reasonable for a pet friendly home. The third bedroom with bathroom off to the right provides total privacy for a guest or in-law suite as it is somewhat dedatched from the main living space. The nightlights were a bonus in the hall and bathroom. We ended up leaving the one we brought by accident in the kid room, so now the home has a new one that changes colors to suite your little one's fancy (you're welcome!). We had a very pleasant stay overall with only one major concern. The freezer door does not stay closed when you open/close the fridge door. It pops back open. There is a note on the fridge stating as such; however, when you have children opening and closing the fridge just before you leave for the the beach, the note gets overlooked. Before you know it your freezer food is defrosted. We highly recommend getting a new refridgerator if this cannot be resolved by leveling the appliance or replacing the freezer door seal.

Bearings was a perfect house for my family. It was beautiful and had enough space for all of us. And it had an incredible view! We will definitely rent here again.

Opening the front door to Bearings with a 180 view of the ocean is an amazing first impression. The spacious open living area and master bedroom share that view which is ever changing with big skies and tides. We absolutely loved the comfy furniture and well designed bedroom layout. The house is well located on the edge of Bodega Harbour and feels totally private. The kitchen is nicely outfitted with plenty of dishes and when we couldn't find the all important corkscrew, Bodega Escapes brought one right over. We would come back again without hesitation. We loved Bearings - thank you to the owners for sharing your beautiful and comfortable home.

I’am getting ready to have cancer treatments and wanted to get away before I start. My wife found this property and the property was very nice and cozy, I loved the fireplace in the bedroom, it was very quiet and relaxing that we didn’t want to leave. Having the use of the garage was very useful and made us feel secure. We would rent this property again.

We had a great time, played cards, games, went out to eat and enjoyed the view of the bay.

Bearings was lovely and lovely view. It does need a couple of things - new upholstery on chairs in living room, a little more cleaning on bathroom tiles and a couple nicer outdoor chairs.

Beautiful vista's of the ocean, Natural lighting was mesmerizing. Home was quiet, clean and relaxing. I can't wait to go back!

From start to finish our stay was wonderful. We arrived to a welcoming house. Clean and completely stocked with all the essentials. The views were exceptional.

We have stayed in a ton of rental houses along the Northern Calif coast; Bodega Bay, Dillon Beach, Santa Cruz and Sea Ranch, and this place is amazing! We are a family that loves to cook, has 2 young children that are very active and a dog.

The view will knock you off your feet when you enter the house, the floor plan is open and very spacious and the furniture if all comfy. For someone who loves to cook and hates to have stuff out on the counter the kitchen is amazing, all the tools you need to cook plus tons of cabinet space to store all the food we brought without having to reorganize anything!

All beds were comfy, the king in the master was probably the most comfortable for a rental I have ever slept on. Having access to the garage was also nice as the kids would have glow stick dance parties in it and we didn't hear their singing or music.
With a dog the front patio area that is fully fenced was a blessing as we did not need to put him on a leash to take him potty.

Everything was very clean and well maintained, would love to stay here again soon!

Bearings has an incredible view with the wide open windows. We had a great time at bearings walking around the area and its great they also allowed dogs. I will say the appliances need to be replaced as the dishwasher kept turning on accidentally and the freezer door had special directions for closing. Other than that, we would stay here again.

We have rented this home 3x's in past 3yrs. The view is great, comfortable home, 3 bedrooms, 3 baths for out 3 couples. House is a bit worn.

This house was true to the description, the only thing we would suggest is more comfortable twin beds.

It was very enjoyable and we hope to again next year!

We spent 4 days in cool but glorious weather in late March. The house is extremely well suited for up to 6 persons.
There are a few items in the house that could be in better shape, but that doesn ́t ruin the overall experience.

This was our 31st year at Bodega Bay. We had a wonderful time as usual. Visiting, shopping, playing games, etc. We are Junior High School friends from Napa.

Rental was in a quiet location with plenty of access to beaches and restaurants. Property was tidy, but not as clean as I would have expected for the price being paid. Will still likely book again.

Second time renting this house. Views are unbeatable! This is a very comfortable house for a gathering up to 6 people. We had some problems with the gas fireplace but as usual the staff at Bodega Bay Escapes were fast to respond. We will be back.

It was great to stay at Bearings again. The property was clean and the views are amazing!

The two blue chairs by the window need to be replaced or covered. There are feathers that come out of them and by the end of the trip there were feathers everywhere in the livingroom.

As usual, our Bodega Bay Escapes vacation was great. The house was ready when promised, it was very clean and it was well stocked with essentials.

We stayed at the house with four generations of our family. It was a lovely weekend, and the house was well suited to our needs.

A very comfortable home except for the squishy family room couches. House very clean on arrival. Bedrooms are great. Mattresses not too hard or too soft. Bathrooms great. Kitchen well equipped and roomy. TV reception is by Internet which we didn't care for but some people might like. Could have used a garage door opener.

My two dogs and I enjoyed this house. The view from the living room and dining room is wonderful (unless the fog is in — it WAS the afternoon I checked in, and I thought there was no ocean view). The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped. The master bedroom bed was comfortable. Bathrooms are nice.

Our group of 6 included 2 young grandsons visiting from Kansas. Their first encounter with the Pacific Ocean was a memorable event for all. Easy access to the beach and a lovely home with a terrific view only added to our pleasure.
We were unable to find extra sheets for the pull out bed.

Considering we rented at the last minute (due to an out-of-the-blue cancellation from the original company we rented with) we couldn't have been happier with our stay at Bearings. Lovely home, perfect spot, all the amenities. Just perfect.

Beautiful location and view; easy walking distance on trail to beach; safe and quiet neighborhood; comfortable furnishings; warm home with fireplace and good heat; multiple steps within home to note for children/elderly; some updating/replacing of items and landscape trimming in front of home needed.

Our stay in the Bearings house this year was wonderful. The house is in an incredible location to view pucture perfect sunsets. We were blessed with no fog so we enjoyed the full view everyday. The layout I'd this house makes it possible for everyone to have space and yet it feels cozy to our family. Another memorable stay!

Absolutely wonderful! Liked the single story, very few steps. Gorgeous views. Couldn’t ask for anything better.
Did have a little trouble with the TV, couldn’t get the DVD player to work.

Property was clean and well maintained,location was great. Customer service was excellent.I would definitely recommend this property to my Friends and Family.

Bearings was amazing as always!

The only thing we did notice this time was that the cutting knives in the kitchen were very dull which made it hard to cut food when we were making lunch, dinners, etc.

Excellent 3bed/3bath vacation residence. The house was very comfortable, clean and well stocked. It has the best ocean view that we thoroughly enjoyed. This house is a must stay.

We have rented this house a couple of times and it continues to be a favorite for us at Bodega Bay! The house is beautifully designed and furnished. The views go on for miles and the sunset is amazing. The house is spotless and well taken care of.
