This is our favorite place to stay in bodega bay. This ocean view is stunning and the house is so well designed and beautiful.

We have been staying at Ocean Fall for five years. Everything you need to unwind and recharge. Two bedrooms each a en-suite make this the perfect house for one or two couples. Pamela, Jessica and all the staff at Bodega Bay Escapes are always welcoming and know the true meaning of hospitality.
We would highly recommend this home and look forward to our next visit.

This is our 2nd year renting this beautiful home, we love the views, sea life and relaxation of Bodega.

Amazing view of the beach from Cliff top. The whole front of the house, deck and hottub is glass and the view is stunning. The kitchen and living area are open plan and appliances are high quality. Downstairs bedroom spacious with king beg and very large bathroom; upstairs small bedroom with queen bed and very small but quite lovely bathroom. High quality internet; very responsive management company for any problems. No easy access to the beach. Drive 1/4 mile to State Park, pay fee to park at the beach in the picture. Very difficult walking on loose sand, dangerous sneaker waves. The other side of town (2 miles from house) is another State park with easy beach access, walking, and lots of places for kids.

What a nice home. Private and very comfortable.

We stayed in this quaint but VERY beautiful home for our 20th wedding anniversary. I literally screamed when I opened the door and saw the sun bouncing off the ocean out the front wall of windows. The view is incomparable, there are only visible neighbors to the left, its cozy, the bed is VERY comfortable (and my hubby always complains about beds) and I never wannted to leave. We didn't even go to dinner in town so we could enjoy every minute of this place. It is worth noting that you can't access the beach from the house so its kind of a teaser of a teaser for our dogs who were dying to jump down the hill.
As long as people are aware there is a walk down and UP a big incline 5 minutes away to get to the beach...all is well. I can't thank the owners enough for even allowing us to rent this for our special occasion. We had to save up for it for quite a while but it was COMPLETELY worth it! We will be back if its available on our next milestone!

Great house, location and hot tub

This is our 3rd time renting this fabulous beach house and probably not the last. Very modern, very high end home with the best views ever. Downstairs living room is big and spacious with Starlink TV and Wifi. Downstairs master bedroom and bath are very nice and the upstairs bath and bedroom is smaller but cozy and comfy. Kitchen is modern with everything you might need. Very well equipped with gadgets, wine fridge, food processer, every appliance, dishes, pots and pans, multiple coffee makers and coffee grinders, dishes, silverware and even crab cracking tools. Pantry had many spices and basic necessities but that may have been just good luck. Everything worked with the exception of the steam bath and some items like that which were shut down intentionally due to drought - water conservation requirements so we were good with that. The home is warm and beautiful. There is a private front patio courtyard with lockable gate and a gas grill and on the back deck there is a large size big green egg - perfect for the smoked prime rib we did at Christmas! Hot tub was sparkling clean and just right for a sunset soak with a cocktail in hand. I have recommended Ocean Fall to friends and they all came back to us with raving reviews. This is a wonderful home especially for a small family or two couples. Downstairs Master Bedroom and Bath is better than upstairs so if sharing with another couple be aware... might need to flip a coin for the master. Management is great with excellent communication, Property is clean and exceptionally well maintained and the property description is accurate. One note, the photos show a beach in the background which looks like you can just step off the deck but you can not. It is inaccessible from the deck. It is an easy walk down to the beach from the park just to the south at Duncans Landing (less than a 5 minute walk) or you can drive 2 minutes to the north and park at Wrights Beach. The views in the photos are accurate. Best views ever.

Every year in October my son and I, along with his partner travel to the Bodega Bay area for our Birthdays. This is the first time we have booked with Bodega Bay Escapes. The office staff, in particular Jessica, was very helpful making the process very smooth and easy. This was the smallest home we have booked over the years, but definitely had the most wonderful views. Quiet and peaceful. Based on prior rentals, we understand, the property condition is the responsibility of the owner not the management company. There were a couple of issues that needed attention, but not enough to spoil our trip. Comfy beds well stocked kitchen. Very Private. Lots of wild life, birds, pelicans, hummingbirds and a curious raccoon. Nice private courtyard. Based on the positive experience, and the ease of booking with Bodega Bay Escapes, we would definitely book again.

We had a great 5 night stay, the weather was beautiful and the location was great. The Property Management company was so helpful and so friendly. I can't wait to work with them again!

We had an amazing time at Ocean Fall. What a fabulous location, and the unit was perfect! Short but beautiful walk to Duncan Cove to hike down the beach. Loved that we were not in Bodega Bay proper as the weekends do get busy. We will be back again! The management team was amazing! Can’t say enough about how much they did to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you all!!

Beautiful home. Perfect for a short stay.
No washing machine or dryer access so stays of longer than 2-3 nights would not be ideal.
The wall of front windows was filthy. These should be cleaned weekly, I cleaned several of them just so we could see the view. Again this not something guests should be doing.

Upon entering this beautiful home, you are awestruck by the spectacular views of the ocean. We were under the impression that there was an easier beach path directly from the house which there is not but regardless, a 5 minute walk to Duncan's Landing beach access is not a big deal. The deck, bedding, and overall accommodations were perfect. Enjoy

The house was beautiful, we only had a few thing go wrong, some of the electrical outlets did not work, I had to was the windows that looked out to the ocean views
And my 92 year old mother got invaded by ants in her bed at 4 am. Other then that it was a fantastic place and yes we would go again...

We had a wonderful mini-vacation at Ocean Fall for our family since it had been three years of being gone due to the pandemic. Bodega Bay Escapes would be the only rental company that I would trust with the COVID cleanliness & they are the only one we have used for 8 (eight) years now! The house had a comfy, cozy feel to it with the rain that we had and we loved it! Sat on the deck with our coffee and watched a whale breach pretty close to the shore so it was exciting! The girls at BBE have always been great & are so easy to work with! Thank you for helping to make our trip such special one!

The house has a beautiful view the moment you open the front door! The house was clean but needs uptodate kitchenware. We were there for 5 days...the hot water went out on day 2. Property management worked very quickly to solve the problem and offered solutions so we could enjoy our stay. They were great!

Ocean Fall was awesome. Every picture was exactly what you get. Fully stocked with everything needed. Other than food & drink we had everything at our fingertips. The view is fantastic.Sounds of the ocean waves, clean and comfy. Hot tub was great & we had the best weather. A short jaunt to Town for delish dining@ Tides and just around the bend to Wrights beach. We have already “Highly” recommended & we will return again next year. We thank you for sharing this beautiful place.

When in Bodega Bay don't miss the Birds Cafe for tasty Fish and Chips, Fish Tacos, Artichoke Fritters and Bodega Head Beer.

My husband and I rented this house to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We had such a relaxing zen time! The location is just amazing! Watching the waves and hearing the surf at night is so soothing and sleep conducive. The house itself was just perfect size for us. The master bedroom with the bay window overlooking the ocean was my favorite room, very comfy bed and pillows. We loved the kitchen and the living room too. Cooking was very pleasant , with the tremendous ocean view on the background. I can see myself live in that house permanently:)
The only suggestion I have to make the experience for other people the most perfect is to update kitchenware, specifically pots and pans. The current ones are too old and scratched. Also, the ants in the pantry should be taken care of. Otherwise, we absolutely loved the house and are thinking of coming back soon.

We had an amazing time at the Ocean Fall property. The view is breathtaking. The only information I wished I had received prior to coming was the size of the upstairs bedroom bathroom. The toilet is awkwardly crammed in, and the ceiling in the shower is about 6 feet high. Besides that, the property was in great condition and was immaculate. Despite the challenging bathroom, we will be coming back.

The property that we stayed in (Ocean Fall) was beautiful. The home appears clean and the amenities were plentiful. We were very comfortable.

The only downside was acts of Mother Nature and couldn’t be predicted. A wind storm during the entire stay probably causing the loss of power from 5pm to 2am one evening.

Pros- beautiful view, perfect for small family, comfortable nights sleep, nice wind blocked entry

Cons- no bathtubs, no beach access from house, run down bbq, outdated kitchen and entertainment center, slow WiFi, so-so hot tub

Overall nice retreat from city life, but we would choose another house when retuning to the area.

We had a fantastic visit. The weather was perfect; the views of the ocean were excellent; we enjoyed the neighborhood tree lighting party; the neighbors are very welcoming; the house is fabulous.

Very nice property with an amazing ocean view. Good kitchen and living room layout and plenty of room on the deck. Spa was clean and made for a nice conclusion to the evening. The 2 ensuites made it perfect for 2 couples.

Place was great with a great view, but you couldn't get to the beach without walking along the highway (which we refused to do).

This is the perfect getaway! We stayed a week and hiked everyday, short day trip to the Russian River, many trips in town for delicious food and sights. Ocean Fall is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. The purple tree in the entryway is stunning.

This home is beautifully designed in a wonderful location right on the ocean. The master bedroom and bath are so comfortable and the second bedroom upstairs has its own bath. We spent a lot of time out on the deck eating our meals and looking at the ocean. The kitchen is a dream and so is the living room. We give this an A+++ and can't recommend it high enough

This place is fantastic. The views out both sides of the house are amazing. The house is very well equipped
for cooking. Listening to the Ocean as you drift off to sleep is so restful.

Once again, we were wowed upon entering the front door at the magnificent ocean front view. This made our third trip to this cottage and we plan to return again. Loved that we could receive few calls and texts but could pick them up driving into the town of Bodega Bay just minutes away. Loved that within 15 minutes or so, we could be walking on the beach getting some exercise in. The hot tub was a hit with our grandson, 9, and our adult son with Down Syndrome. The gas fireplace was a godsend as the weather was on the cool side. Had made dinner reservations ahead of time to three fabulous spots, Drakes Sonoma Coast, Terrapin Creek and The Bay View at Inn of the Tides that are located a short drive away. Took a lovely peaceful Eucalyptus lined drive to Freestone to gather up the delicious scones and sticky bread at Wild Flour Bakery. There’s a very old cemetery which I will investigate on our next trip. We were also pleasantly surprised that we could bring our small Bichon along on this trip instead of kenneling him. Stayed 3 nights and they flew by. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed with quality ware. The staff was also very pleasant in dealing with.

So Excellent!! I would rent this house again in a heartbeat and probably will. Tons of privacy and well appointed. Hot tub! The ocean was amazingly close and you could hear the surf at night. Well worth it’s cost.

The Ocean Fall home is beautiful. We couldn't ask for a better house to rent in terms of amenities, location, decor, cleanliness, ... The staff was very, very helpful and very knowledgable about the house. Our vacation was incredibly relaxing. We will be back.

We have rented here twice and plan to again. The house is perfect for maximizing the enjoyment of being “on the shore”. Beautiful sunsets, whales spouting and shore birds abound. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. Falling asleep to the sound of the surf is great. Close to Bodega Bay and Jenner for dining and hiking. This is a marvelous place.

We stayed at the Ocean Fall house 4 nights in February. Beautiful home with views just as advertised. Very comfortable beds. Great kitchen. The staff at Bodega Bay Escapes is wonderful. On our last night there was a storm and blackout in the whole area. Luckily the gas fireplace still worked, with plenty of extra blankets available. We would definitely return.

This is a gorgeous house that doesn’t feel like a rental. It’s spotless and beautifully designed. And it doesn’ Have that smell that says you’re staying in a house that a thousand other people have stayed in before you. It’s tastefully decorated with a fully stocked kitchen. I plan on coming back here again and again.

Ocean Fall is a stunning and relaxing home for a vacation for 4 people. The tremendous views, the hot tub on the deck with the view, and the living room fireplace provided just the ambiance we wanted. The home was very clean, and the front garden was lovely.
We enjoyed a lunch at Hog Island Oyster Farm (SO much fun), and a remarkable dinner at Terrapin Creek Cafe (has a Michelin star).

We arrived Sunday afternoon and the spa required maintenance, which was completed Monday, which required extra chemicals. Spa maintenance person that because of the extra chemicals, not to use it until Tuesday. We prepared steaks for dinner and there were no steak knives. Other than things that were out of any ones control, great experience, we will try to return again.

Having stayed at Ocean Fall, there were no surprises but anticipation of a well kept cozy home with an unobstructed panoramic view of the vast Pacific Ocean including a sandy beach to watch the waves crash upon. There is a short walk toward the water tower, across a narrow path near an unbusy Highway 1, down a coastal road flanked by wild flowers and grasses to a zig zag dirt path down to Wrights Beach where we searched for sea shells and tusselled with our kite that instantly flew to the end of its string in moments. Dined at both fine and funky eateries, Jenner was a mere 8 minutes away to enjoy River's Edge with a view of the Russian River and ocean simultaneously. Fishtarian was our first stop for fresh fish and chips. Former Duck club now Sonoma Coast Kitchen at the golf course is a must dining experience with a gracious engaging staff. Not to miss, Freestone's Wild Flour Bread with delicious fresh scones and strong coffee beverages and Spud Point Crab Company's right off the boat crab sandwiches. Our 7 year old grandson enjoyed himself thoroughly in the hot tub even with the cool coast air and caught him pondering the emensity of the Pacific Ocean and the birds catching updrafts right over his head. The washer and dryer came in handy to lessen the laundry loads when arriving back home as well. My tub loving disabled son was easy to wash in the ample master shower with 3 choices of shower heads. So yes, this trip was a relaxing fun diversion from our busy city lives.
